Mrs. Amy Alecock earned a BA in History from Washington College and a Masters degree in Education with a specialization in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. Her Montessori experience began as a primary student at the Montessori Academy of New Jersey where she credits her first teacher with instilling a lifelong love of learning. She moved to Orlando five years ago and was delighted to discover the Montessori World School community for both her children and herself. She has had the privilege of working in our Butterfly toddler room, our primary Turtle Room with Mrs. Jane Shaw and is now looking forward to working in our elementary program in the Panther room. In her spare time, Mrs. Alecock enjoys spending time with her children, Abby and Will, reading, baking and playing word games. She also lives with Sophia the pug dog and serves as a foster mom for pugs waiting for forever homes.
