Mrs. Bushra Khan, the lead teacher in the Panda room since 2007, can recall always having an intrinsic love of learning and teaching. Being the second eldest in a family of six provided many opportunities to foster this natural talent. She was born in India and moved to the United States when she was ten years old. After a brief transition, Mrs. Khan quickly adjusted to life in a new country, although she still missed the close sense of community she felt in India.
Mrs. Khan received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood in 2003 and her Primary Montessori Credential in 2006. She is happily married and has two children whom both joyfully attend Montessori World School. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and the cinema particularly mystery and adventure. She also is interested in cultivating ethnic awareness, diversity and acceptance through educational means.
