Mrs. Hoback was born and raised in Boulder, CO. and moved to Orlando in 1989 to work as an actress at Disney/MGM Studios. Her husband Tom is a Technical Entertainment Manager at Disney's Animal Kingdom, daughter Brittany (23) is a sailor in the South Seas, and Nikolas (20) is a junior in college. Cindy's non traditional instructional venues include Spokane Olympic Gymnastics Academy, Walt Disney World Professional Development, enrichment programs and field trips. She has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Whitworth College, Spokane, WA, a Master's in Theatre and Dance from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and is a graduate of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. She was a former Marine and Earth Science teacher, a Drama director and has been with MWS for two years. In 2006, she completed Lower Elementary Training at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, CO. Her philosophy of education is that “learning can be fun, fast and easy...and never ends.” Her goals are to see Nikolas graduate from college, to visit her daughter in Fiji, change recycling laws in Florida, and meet her sponsored children in Kenya. Cindy's outside school interests are in Interior Decorating, creating new lamps from old ones and nurturing indoor plants.
