Mrs. Becker is originally from England and moved from Cincinnati to Orlando in 1997. Her daughter, Ayesha, joined Montessori World School and later, her son attended. Currently, they are aged fourteen and eight, respectively, and greatly benefited from the foundation received at Montessori World. Impressed with the Maria Montessori philosophy, Mrs. Becker took her primary training and graduated in the class of 2003 from Maitland Montessori School. Prior to finishing her course, she worked in the “West Room.” In the spring of 2003, she opened the Sunflower Room with Mrs. Burnell and experienced her first group of toddlers. In the fall, she started teaching in the newly named Leopard Room. She truly fell in love with the Montessori philosophy; its richness and diversity make it a unique environment for our children to grow and learn. They are afforded a wonderful opportunity to grow in both knowledge and intellect. Mrs. Becker enjoys working with children and also teaches Sunday school. Her hobbies include dining out with her husband, interior design, crafts and scrapbooking.
