Sarah Prosser is from Marlow in Buckinghamshire, a small town in the South East of England. She first moved to New York in 1999 with her husband where she began working as a casting director for stage, TV and film. After briefly returning to the rainy climate of the United Kingdom, an opportunity to move to sunny Orlando presented itself and she and her family moved to the United States again. She has been living in the Orlando area since 2007.

Sarah graduated Middlesex University in 1991 with a BA Honors degree in Performing Arts. She worked for four years as an actor leading youth workshops with two of the UK's leading mask and physical theatre companies. In New York she continued to use her performing arts skills leading auditions and workshops as a children's casting director for the Broadway and touring productions of Disney's The Lion King

She was first introduced to the Montessori Method by a friend at university, and knew then that when she had children of her own, a Montessori education was what she wanted for them. She has been an active parent volunteer at Montessori World School for the last four years and is now thrilled to be joining the staff as a part-time assistant teacher in the Sunflower/Butterfly room. Her sons Bryn and Dylan are current Montessori World School Students.
