Sara Shrourou was born in Kuwait but spent most of her childhood in Montreal, Canada. When she was eleven her family moved to America where she completed her education. She realized her love of teaching while still in high school and graduated in May from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education. She felt the best part of her training was the internships at Sunset Park Elementary and Tangelo Park Elementary because they gave her the chance to experience effective teaching first hand. Although she is already certified to teach K-6th in Florida, she plans to begin her Montessori certificate training soon. Her hobbies include arts and crafts, swimming, cooking, reading and writing. She loves to spend time with her family and friends and also enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
